NIRCO Launches Warm Handoff & Recovery Support Services Program

We’re excited to announce the launch of NIRCO’s Warm Handoff & Recovery Support Services Program, a new initiative aimed at providing compassionate, peer-driven support to individuals navigating the challenges of recovery from Opioid and Polysubstance Use Disorders. This program is designed especially for those transitioning from jail, treatment centers, or homelessness, helping them rebuild stability, connect with resources, and rediscover hope.

In addition to launching this vital program, we’re thrilled to welcome new team members who will deliver direct services as part of this initiative. These passionate individuals bring lived experience, empathy, and expertise to their roles, ensuring that every participant feels understood and supported.

What Our Warm Handoff Program Offers

  • Peer Recovery Support: Participants will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with trained Peer Recovery Coaches who have walked a similar path, offering insight and understanding that only comes from shared experience.

  • Seamless Transitions: Whether transitioning from jail, inpatient treatment, or homelessness, our team is here to provide the support needed to move successfully into the community.

  • Community Resources: We connect individuals to essential services like housing, employment support, and health care, helping them build a strong foundation for recovery.

  • Personalized Assistance: Our team offers tailored guidance to help individuals create a stable, fulfilling life in recovery.

Why This Matters

At NIRCO, we believe that recovery is possible for everyone, and the key to success is providing support that meets individuals where they are. Our Warm Handoff & Recovery Support Services Program ensures that no one has to walk this journey alone. By focusing on connection, empowerment, and stability, we aim to make recovery accessible and sustainable for all.

We’re incredibly proud of our new team members and this program’s potential to create meaningful change in our community. Together, we’re building a stronger, more compassionate future for individuals in recovery.

If you or someone you know could benefit from this program, or if you’d like to learn more, please reach out to us today. Recovery starts with connection—and we’re here to help.
