The Recovery-Oriented Systems of Care-Illinois Statewide Network (ROSC-ISN) is thrilled to announce the much-anticipated meeting dates for 2024. As we continue our commitment to building recovery-oriented systems of care throughout Illinois, these gatherings play a pivotal role in fostering collaboration, sharing insights, and strengthening the foundation of support for individuals on their journey to recovery.

Establishing Geographically Distributed ROSC Councils: In 2024, ROSC is set to establish multiple geographically distributed ROSC Councils, strategically positioned to assist communities in building local recovery-oriented systems of care. These councils will serve as hubs of collaboration, bringing together diverse stakeholders to address the unique needs of each community.

Networking for Collective Impact: New ROSC Councils will have the opportunity to network with the eleven previously funded ROSC Councils and the statewide ROSC. This collaborative effort aims to create a powerful network that shares resources, best practices, and experiences, ultimately amplifying the impact of recovery-oriented initiatives across the state.

Expanding Recovery Community Initiatives: Successful ROSCs will play a key role in developing essential components of the recovery landscape, including Recovery Community Organizations (RCOs), Recovery Community Centers, and Recovery Community Cafés. By supporting the establishment of RCOs, ROSC-ISN aims to enhance community capacity for advocacy, education, and recovery support services for individuals facing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Empowering Communities Through Advocacy: One of the primary goals of ROSC-ISN is to empower communities to provide advocacy, education, and recovery support services. These efforts are crucial in creating an inclusive environment where individuals in recovery can thrive. The 2024 meetings will serve as platforms for sharing success stories, addressing challenges, and strategizing ways to further strengthen the impact of recovery-oriented initiatives.

Save the Dates: Mark your calendars for the upcoming ROSC-ISN meetings in 2024. These gatherings promise to be dynamic forums for collaboration, innovation, and community empowerment. Stay tuned for further details, including specific dates and locations, as we work together to build a resilient and supportive recovery community throughout Illinois.

ROSC invites all stakeholders, advocates, and community members to join us in 2024 as we continue our journey towards building recovery-oriented systems of care in Illinois. Together, we can create lasting change, support individuals in their recovery, and build stronger, more resilient communities. Save the dates, and let's make 2024 a year of transformative progress for recovery in Illinois!
